Hi, I’m Kyra — Master cosmetologist, natural hair specialist, trichology-focused hair restoration practitioner, product creator, and the founder of Naturally Crowned Universe LLC.

My journey into natural hair care and scalp health became deeply personal after my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. During that season of my life, I found myself researching everything I could — ingredients, environmental factors, inflammation, hormonal health, and the long-term effects of what we put on and around our bodies. What started as concern for my mother quickly became an intense passion for understanding hair, scalp wellness, and the unique challenges that often affect Black women.

That passion evolved into a mission: creating a space where hair health always comes first.

As both a stylist and product formulator, I realized many women were struggling with the same recurring issues — dryness, breakage, thinning, scalp irritation, inflammation, and difficulty retaining length. After years of working hands-on with hundreds of clients, researching ingredients, and observing real results behind the chair, I began handcrafting my own products with intention, performance, and long-term hair wellness in mind.

Every product I create is handmade by me and rooted in practical experience, education, and care — not trends.

Beyond hair, I’m also a proud mom of three boys, which keeps me grounded in purpose, patience, and authenticity. Family means everything to me, and that same sense of care carries over into the experience I strive to create for my clients. I’m passionate about building genuine, long-lasting relationships with the women who sit in my chair — understanding not just their hair goals, but their lifestyle, routines, and overall wellness journey too.

My goal has never been to simply style hair. It’s to help women feel confident, educated, cared for, and truly connected to the health of their hair and scalp.
